Description
Painted in 2012 as part of my "New Zealand Deep Ecology" series, while living in Portland and attending the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Inspired by New Zealand landscape painters, philosophical, intellectual, and spiritual reverberations of time, place, connection with the land and Nature. A reaction to the over-conceptual art world, yet trapped by it, perhaps.
