A commissioned piece that was space specific, painted in 2015 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Not representational of any actual place, but inspired by images of the Chugach Mountains in Alaska. Reaching for the sense of the ethereal and otherworldly experienced at mountain peaks.
About Whitney Palmer
Born and raised in Sandpoint, Idaho. Graduated from University of Oregon with a B.A. degree in Art in 2007. Elements of the divine, Nature, deep ecology, imagination and humor influence my work.
